Depart the USA this evening. Overnight: On board the aircraft.

15 Feb 2011
Depart Europe this morning. Arrive Delhi this night. We will meet you as you exit Delhi airport customs and immigration, and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight: Delhi.

16 Feb 2011
Depart Delhi for Haridwar by train early in the morning, arriving Haridwar late morning. We will meet you and transfer you to Rishikesh by road, a journey of 1 hour. Upon arrival at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, register for the Ayurveda Conference. Rest of the day at leisure to wander in Rishikesh. Overnight: Rishikesh Ashram.

17 – 20 Feb 2011
Attend Ayurveda Conference. Overnight: Rishikesh Ashram, a part of the Ayurveda Conference.

21 Feb 2011
Attend the Ayurveda Conference till it ends around 12 noon, then depart Rishikesh for Haridwar train station by road, a journey of 1 hour. Depart Haridwar early afternoon for Amritsar by train, arriving late at night. We will meet you at the train station and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight: Amritsar.

Depart for the Golden Temple at dawn. Return to your hotel for breakfast and then spend the rest of the day sightseeing in Amritsar. Overnight: Amritsar.

Spend the morning sightseeing in Amritsar, and then depart for Delhi by train leaving in the early afternoon and arriving late at night. We will meet you at the train station and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight: Delhi.

Depart for Agra by train, at dawn and arriving early in the morning. Spend the day sightseeing this city. Overnight: Agra.

Depart at dawn to see the Taj Mahal as the sun comes up. Return to your hotel for breakfast, then spend rest of the day sightseeing in Fathepur Sikri. Overnight: Agra.

At leisure this day, spending the day on your own in Agra, then take a train for Delhi departing late evening and arriving late at night. Overnight: Delhi.

First visit Sarnath, then a tour of the city and an Aarti ceremony in the evening. Overnight: Varanasi.

Wake up before dawn, and go for a boat ride on the River Ganges to experience the sun coming up, return to hotel for breakfast, city tour and then depart for Delhi by air, departing in the evening. Overnight: Delhi.

Registration: Basic tour $1,835 - land only; airfare to and from India is additional (estimated $1,300). An optional 2 day extension to Varanasi is $400. "Single Room" is available at additional cost (although not during the A&Y conference). Price is per person in US funds based upon double occupancy.
