Travel Package: Ayurveda and Yoga Conference, February 2011

Your registration fee for the Ayurveda and Yoga Conference includes course material and meals during the conference. In addition, you need to reserve your accommodation, and to complete the total package, you need to get to and return from Rishikesh.

Firstly, some pertinent dates:
• Ayurveda and Yoga Conference starts morning of 17 February and ends at lunch time on 21 February
• If you are coming JUST for the Conference, you need to arrive into Delhi by the night of 15 February. Obviously if you wish to travel in India before the conference, then you need to arrive sooner.
• If you are planning to leave just after the Conference, then plan to leave after 11:00 PM on 21 February. Obviously if you wish to travel in India after the conference, then you need to leave later.

Since your registration fee for the Conference does not include getting to and returning from Rishikesh, you need to make your own way to and from Rishikesh. Most convenient international airport for Rishikesh is Delhi. Following is the basic travel package offered to you from Spiritual Journeys. Roundtrip Transfer:
Tuesday 15 February, 2011: We will meet you at Delhi’s international airport as you exit the Customs and Immigration area. Most flights arrive into Delhi in the late evening. We will then take you to a local hotel for your overnight stay. Overnight: Delhi.

Wednesday – 16 February, 2011: Your morning is free. In the early afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Delhi train station for you to catch a train departing at 3:25 PM and arriving at Haridwar at 7:30 PM. We will meet you at Haridwar station and drive you to Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, a journey of one-hour, allowing you to register for the conference in the evening. You will stay at the Ashram as a part of your accommodation package.

Monday – 21 February, 2011: Immediately after lunch at the Ashram, we will drive you to Delhi’s international airport, a door-to-door journey of 6 - 7 hours with dinner en-route. We will drop you off at your respective air-terminal. If you were to leave at 1:00 PM, you will arrive at say 8:00 PM. You need to arrive three hours before the scheduled time of departure, and thus, you will arrive in time for flights departing 11:00 PM or after on the night of Monday 21 February.

Costs:
Two people (MINIMUM): $ 205.00 per person sharing a twin share room or $ 250.00 per person in a single room.

Three or more people: $ 165.00 per person sharing a twin share room. Additional $ 45.00 per person for single room.

Sightseeing in Delhi:
Half day of sightseeing on the morning of Wednesday – 16 February, 2011. Visit New Delhi, drive past the 12th century 230 feet high Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234 ft, the mausoleum of emperor Humayun - a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture, the imposing Lakshmi Narayan temple, India Gate (memorial to the India army soldiers who died in the World War), the Rashtrapati Bhavan (formerly the viceroy's residence) and the parliament House. Accompanied by an English speaking guide & including monument sightseeing fees.

$ 60.00 per person, MINIMUM of two people.

Note: If you are traveling on your own, then we will make every attempt to find another traveling partner to ensure there are a minimum of two people. However, this is NOT guaranteed, and thus we CANNOT guarantee above prices for one person.
